How I travelled 3 cities in 1500₹ only.
Those 3 cities were Rishikesh,mussoorie and haridwar.
Hey guys I'm Aditya Abhinav from Kurukshetra,Haryana. As you know how engineering sucks I was frustrated so I made a trip. Not an official trip. Because staying in hostel is hard but going on trip with your teachers is depressing.
So suddenly my bag was packed. My friend asked about where I was going to. And then we were four. Praveen, Nitin and Naveen came along with me.
We took train from Kurukshetra to Rishikesh which cost us total 250₹. Never take a bus if you want to travel. We didn't sleep whole night. We had got our freedom.
Next day early morning we were in the lap of mother nature RISHIKESH.
We went to RAM JHULA and LAKSHAM JHULA first. It is 5km away from railway station. It is a suspended bridge made of iron. It connects two villages of TAPOVAN.
Then we headed to the most beautiful place of rishikesh THE NEER GARH FALLS.
It is situated 4km away from lakshman jhula. And to reach there we took bus from main road and took 4 tickets 20₹ each. Never ever take a taxi. They will charge you 700-1200.
To reach to the falls you will have to do trecking for approx 2km. Or you can just walk on man made roads. But trecking is more adventurous.
After a lung squeezing journey you reach to a place which takes away all your tiredness. It was a calm and beautiful place. Water falling down from the rock was ice cold. It took all the pain we had while trecking.
We played in water for 2 hours. Water was cristal clear.
Do not forget to eat maggie made by pahadi people on traditional ''choolha". It tastes awesome.
We felt alive for the first time. It all became more beautiful when we reached TRIVENI GHAT to attend GANGA AARTI. We saw spirituality flowing with the air during ganga aarti.
Now the time was 8:30pm. We had dinner at a hotel which offered THAALI at 70 rupees.
We reached RAIWALA JUNCTION at 11:30pm.
Now we had to wait for the train for DEHRADUN which was going to arrive at 4:00am.
We slept for 3 hours. Then we came to know that the train was cancelled. Then we took a bus to dehradun.
We reached dehradun early morning. Then took bus to mussoorie. It took 1:30 hours to reach mall road.
We checked in a hotel and paid 600 for one night.
MUSSOORIE, OMG! What a great place. "QUEEN OF HILLS"
I loved the view of dehradun from mussoorie.
Firstly we went to GUNHILL POINT by Rope way.
Believe me Rope way gives you the best view of mussoorie.
Our next destination was KEMPTY FALL. It was quite like the NEER GARH FALL. But it was big.
Although it does not matter how many times you go to heaven you'll always love it. We loved the place.
We had lunch. And took rest in hotel.
In evening we visited to several temples and did roam on the streets.
At 10:00pm we had our lunch. And reached hotel to take a great sleep. Because from two nights we were having fun whole night. We woke up at 8:00am.
And after having breakfast. We headed to dehradun by bus.
We took train to haridwar. And reached at 3:00 pm.
We ate our lunch. And started exploring haridwar. HARIDWAR , such an ethnic place. We went to HAR KI PAUDI (Ganga Ghat) and captured unforgettable pictures.

We went to some of temples. We returned to railway station and took tain to kurukshetra
In between all this we had a great time together. When the whole college was making assignment we made memories. We laughed so much that we lost our voice for two days. And now after returning to the jail (hostel) we think we have lost ourselves somewhere over there. We are sad but we are happy too that we had such happiness in our life.
And it was very cheap trip.we saved money by drinking tea for 10 rupees and did not waste 150 rupees for just a cup of coffee. We saved money by traveling in train. And took bus only when there was not any other option.
We had contributed 1500 rupees per person so we had 6000 in total.
In which we spent 1500 for alcohol. So we had a very adventurous trip in 4500.
Don't worry for expenses it's very cheap to visit in india. So just pack your bags and explore your dream destination.
